David Wiltshire and Afsaneh Rashidi from OET visited India and Sri Lanka in January on the first OET Roadshow in the region.

Representatives from organisations including language schools, healthcare educators and the major health regulators were invited to the launch of two new Test Venues in Kochi, India and Colombo, Sri Lanka. The new Test Venues will provide easier access to OET testing for local healthcare professionals.

A total of 100 teachers attended information sessions in Kochi, New Delhi and Colombo on how to prepare candidates for OET, presented by David Wiltshire. He also presented an OET preparation masterclass to a total of 200 potential candidates in each city.

Afsaneh Rashidi said: “It was wonderful to launch two new Test Venues in Kochi and Colombo, and build relationships with a large number of healthcare organisations who share OET’s aim of ensuring patient safety and quality of care, while also improving career prospects for healthcare professionals in the region”.
