OET is pleased to announce that we are partnering with Jean Hailes for Women’s Health as a Major Sponsor of Women’s Health Week 2021.

Held annually in September, Women’s Health Week is the biggest week in Australia focusing on good health and wellbeing. It is a timely reminder for women and girls to make their health a priority and to take care of themselves.

Sujata Stead, CEO OET, says best practice healthcare is so important to OET as an organisation.

“Jean Hailes is a stand-out provider of evidence-based health information for women and girls, and we are delighted to help support them through this great partnership. Women’s Health Week is a great platform for both healthcare professionals and their patients to open communication around all health matters.”

Jean Hailes Patron and Interim CEO Janet Michelmore AO says Jean Hailes is thrilled to be partnering with OET on this important health awareness campaign.

“OET plays an important role ensuring overseas-trained healthcare professionals are able to communicate effectively to provide high quality and safe patient care. These frontline professionals provide essential services that promote health, prevent diseases and deliver healthcare services to women across Australia,” says Ms Michelmore.

“All health carers perform a vital role in a woman’s health journey, and together with Jean Hailes, help women and girls to find the support, connection and information they need to be healthy in mind and body.”

Women’s Health Week has been held in the first week of September every year since 2013 – and this year from 6-10 September. The campaign is a timely reminder for women to take positive and proactive steps to being healthy in mind and body.
