The Occupational English Test (OET) opens a new test venue in Spain with Exams Madrid.
OET, the English language test for healthcare professionals, will be available at a new venue from August. The new Madrid test venue will be managed by Exams Madrid.
OET (the Occupational English Test) is an international English language test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals. It provides assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – through test material designed to reflect real healthcare scenarios.
Michael Terry, Centre Examinations Manager at Exams Madrid said: We have had a very positive experience delivering OET at out Barcelona centre, where candidate numbers and interest in the exam have grown steadily and so we are very pleased to now be able to offer the exam to candidates in Madrid as well.
OET CEO, Sujata Stead, said that OET had been working with Exams Madrid for some time now, and that she was delighted to welcome another of their test venues to the OET family. “The feedback we get from candidates about their experience at Exams Madrid in Barcelona is always very positive, so I feel confident that our candidates in Madrid will have the same positive experience there,” she said
“There is considerable demand for OET in Spain and opening an additional centre there can only be of benefit for those healthcare professionals who wish to embark on an international career,” Stead added.
