The Occupational English Test (OET) opens a new test venue in Spain with Exams Andalucía
OET, the English language test for healthcare professionals, will be available at a new venue in Spain from September. The new test venue will be in Granada and will be managed by Exams Andalucía.
OET (the Occupational English Test) is an Australian-developed English language test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals. It provides assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – through test material designed to reflect real healthcare scenarios.
Jonathan Baum, director of Exams Andalucia, said: “Exams Andalucia has been operating as an exam centre for more than 25 years, and is the largest Cambridge Assessment Examination Centre in Europe”.
“We have chosen to offer the highly acclaimed Occupational English to support the large number of medical practitioners and students in South East Spain whose careers both at home and abroad will be enhanced if they are able to prove that they can communicate effectively in English in a healthcare environment.”
OET CEO, Sujata Stead, said she was pleased to be able to offer another test venue to healthcare professionals in Spain to complement existing venues in Barcelona, Madrid and Santiago De Compostela.
“Exams Andalucia has proven their commitment to the highest standards of security and service over many years of running high-stakes tests. I have no doubt our candidates will have a good experience with them,” she added.
