The Occupational English Test (OET) opens a new test venue in Nepal with Chitwan Medical College, Bharatpur.
OET, the English language test for healthcare professionals, will be available at a new venue in Nepal from July. The new Bharatpur, Chitwan, test venue will be managed by Chitwan Medical College.
OET (the Occupational English Test) is an Australian-developed English language test that assesses the language proficiency of healthcare professionals. It provides a valid and reliable assessment of all four language skills – listening, reading, writing and speaking – through test material designed to reflect real healthcare scenarios.
Mr. Siddeshwar Angadi, Venue Manager said:
“OET reflects the real clinical scenarios which makes the test takers more confident not just to score well in the test but also to work efficiently in clinical settings abroad in English speaking countries. Hence, we thought of offering OET to aspiring medicos as a better option.”
OET CEO, Sujata Stead, said the organisation was thrilled to be launching another test venue in Nepal to join the existing venue in Kathmandu. “Chitwan Medical College offers the comfortable surroundings, customer-service focus and robust security that our business, regulators and candidates demand. We look forward to working with them to grow OET in the region,” she added.
