Any test is a reason to feel nervous.
- We want to do our best.
- We want to achieve the result we have been working towards.
- We want to demonstrate that we have the skills required.
If we are not careful though, being nervous can undo all the good work we have done to prepare.
Examples of feel good routines:
“I wear a necklace my parents gave me.”
“I eat a banana. It’s a slow-release food that will give me energy during the test.”
“I whisper a prayer to myself while I’m waiting for the test to start.”
In many ways, it doesn’t matter what your feel good routine is, as long as it makes you feel good about yourself on the day.
