Do your patients always agree with you?

OET is based around how you communicate with your patient and other individuals. The Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sub-tests assess your communication skills and can include patient consultations.

Healthcare professionals speak to and treat many patients every day. However, each patient is unique. This is no truer than when this comes to following your recommendations.

Some patients will happily follow your advice and instructions. Others will argue with you and will not do what you suggest.
