Do you know what this patient is looking for?

I can't find my specs

If a patient were to say this to you,  would you know what they would be looking for?

Specs or spectacles, to use the full word, is another word for glasses and may be used in an informal way by patients such as in the sentence above.

You might also hear a patient referring to them in a Listening Part A task e.g.

I’ve come in for you to check my eyes. My specs are giving me a headache.
