If you feel you need additional study materials to prepare for the test, the OET Centre offers official OET practice materials for each sub-test. 

Please read the following information carefully before you place an order:

  1. PLEASE ORDER WITH CARE - NO REFUNDS ARE ISSUED ON MATERIALS PURCHASES.

  2. The OET Centre will not be held responsible under any circumstances for the delivery of orders once they have been consigned to the postal service.

  3. If you experience any technical difficulties with the practice material CDs, you are required to contact the OET Centre NO LATER than seven business days before an administration of the OET. The OET Centre will require you to immediately post these CDs back to the OET Centre before a replacement can be despatched via registered post.


Additional Practice Materials: Profession Specific (2008-2009 edition)

This set of materials contains practice material for all four sub-tests (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) and is available for the following professions:

  • Speech Pathology 2009
  • Veterinary Science 2009

No test materials in the 2008-2009 edition have been published before. These materials have been used previously in live administrations of the OET.
The Listening and Reading materials in the 2008-2009 edition are the same for all ten professions.

Listening sub-test
Includes two CDs and two tests (each with consultation and lecture) with answers

Reading sub-test
Two tests (two texts each) with answers

Writing sub-test (profession specific)
Two tasks, one with sample answer

Speaking sub-test (profession specific)
Four roleplay scenarios
